The mission of the Family Crisis Center is to enhance community harmony and strengthen families and individuals by promoting health, well-being and non-violence through prevention, education, intervention, treatment and shelter services.


Last year Family Crisis Center helped thousands in San Juan County, NM, and provides services to more individuals than any other domestic violence program in New Mexico.

  • 3,407 men, women and children were served
  • Furnished 5,031 nights of protective shelter
  • Provided 13,180 hours of counseling
  • Presented domestic violence education to over 1,000 community members
