Workplace Programs
You must know how to handle domestic violence in your workplace before it happens! These trainings can be short enough to be included in a weekly staff meeting or a two day comprehensive training. Topics include: domestic violence in the workplace, safety planning, how to assist an employee in a domestic violence situation, how to recognize domestic violence, how it affects businesses, how businesses can help our community in stopping the cycle of violence. |
 |
School Programs
Children are much more likely to experience domestic violence at home than a fire! Which are they more prepared for? Family Crisis Center is contracted with Farmington Public Schools to provide Teen Dating Awareness, safety, intervention and prevention. We use a factual/evidence based curriculum called Safe Dates, presentations, interactive activities, and much more. Staff also provides domestic violence education within classrooms for San Juan College and NM Highlands. |
