Fundraising for the new “Marge’s Place,” Family Crisis Center’s protective home for victims of domestic violence and their children is nearly complete. Donations to the building project are welcome. Learn more about donating here. The new facility will provide more private and comfortable space for up to 54, a much-needed increase from the current very cozy maximum of 27. Square footage of the facility will be nearly three times the size of the current facility, giving residents privacy in a healing setting.
Adopt-a-Room in Marge's Place
Marge's Place, the new protective shelter for victims and children of domestic violence is scheduled to open in the summer of 2010. Individuals and groups are encouraged to select a room to adopt by funding the $500 to $3,500 needed to furnish and outfit each space suitably. Please consider inviting others from your business, church, club or family to join you in this important effort.
Want to Help, but Cannot Adopt?
There are a variety of giving options available that best suit your financial situation. We understand that not everyone can make the financial commitment of adopting a room, but every little bit helps. As a part of the Adopt-a-Room program, an individual could give as little as $10 to be combined with other donors to get the rooms finished.
